lthough I spent countless hours airborne in my youth while in the Navy, I still enjoy occasionally getting up high and looking out over the earth. Whenever my current professional activities require air travel I always select a window seat. Sometimes conditions are favorable for photography, like today's image of an aircraft power plant, made with a Canon Powershot S50 which is my oldest but still serviceable digital camera.
