A t the Hertz car rental facility near the Memphis airport, stark late afternoon sunshine lights up the central office. Since my travel partner on this trip is a “Gold Club” member, we didn't have to go inside to get the keys, but rather went directly to the car. While he checked the vehicle over for any preexisting problems, I quickly ran over to capture this illuminated facade. I especially liked the glass bricks echoing the overall rectilinear motif and the interplay of brightness and shadow.
