Hot Nachos

   Sustenance
For the comprehensive
Circular voyage

H aving been on a road trip only a few weeks prior to the State Fair that included portions of the old Route 66, I found this carnival food booth humorous. Somehow Route 66 continues to subsist in our consumer culture. These hot nachos must be designed to meet the special needs of the traveling/touring public. Just the thing to wolf-down before climbing into a passenger gondola to enjoy a round trip ride to nowhere.

“'Route 66' was a breath of fresh air, an escape, and a challenge to try something different as well as a reminder that one should move on not with a sense of despair but with a feeling of jubilation and wonder at what is over the next hill.” - Jeff Hill
