lternating between zone plate captures, I also made a series of infrared captures of the empty carnival midway early on a Sunday morning. The detail and tonal richness of these images are rewarding. Photographing in the field and on location is always an equipment balancing act between versatility and light weight mobility. But two camera bodies are now becoming my standard for dedicated photographic expeditions. The goal is to maximize the time investment and return with as many fine images as possible.
