Texas Tree

   Allowed to thrive
Small available patch
Next to the road

T he scenic Caprock Escarpment is a geographical transition point located in the Texas Panhandle between the High Plains to the west and the North Central Plains to the east. The escarpment stretches around 200 miles to the southwest starting in the northeast Panhandle corner near the Oklahoma border. This widely spreading tree bordered by rangeland and roadway was captured in this general vicinity just outside the small town of Canadian. I was only there for a few hours and would like to go back.
