O n the first night of the Santa Fe trip we stayed at the Best Western Red Baron Hotel in Garden City, Kansas. The town was rather odiferous, smelling a bit like a neglected toilet, probably from the large cattle feed lots nearby. Unlike many other locations visited, I have no desire to return to Garden City. I made this image of the back of the hotel on the morning of our departure. I like the randomness of the white brick placement.
