his giant cross is just outside Groom, Texas. It is 190 feet tall, is visible from approximately 25 miles away, and can't be missed from I-40. It looks new and appears to be made of metal sheeting. If you position yourself at a specific location under the cross, the highway sound is reflected and amplified in a most eerie manner. An impressive sculpture well worth the stop.
