Angularity | Fresh impressions Off the plaza Near the sun |
I
n pueblo-style adobe architecture, roofs are supported by a network of vigas - long beams whose ends protrude through the outer exterior walls. The vigas are clearly seen in today's image, shot just off the old plaza on a beautiful summer morning. The light in Santa Fe is wondrous, and it is obvious why so many artists are drawn to the area. As I was only in town for two days, everything was fresh and new, and images where made based on first impressions. It would be great to spend an extended period of time in the region for a more extensive investigation.
“Now, at the Santa Fe Institute, I can do research on both the simple and the complex.” - Murray Gell-Mann
