alking in Warrensburg is often an unpleasant experience and sometimes exceptionally dangerous. The commerce and local travel infrastructure have evolved to support the automobile. In addition, the prevailing attitude of the local inhabitants is to resent anyone on foot. Gas prices are not yet high enough to engender an encouraging effect on this regrettable condition. This is an odd little place.
