Y esterday morning Terry and I rode on the Indian Creek bicycle trail in the southwest suburbs of Kansas City. The trail surface is asphalt but is not well maintained and is rough with areas covered in thick mud. Other hazards included hairpin turns and oblivious groups of soccer people overflowing ball fields across the path. It was quite noisy and the creek smelled bad. We never could get into a comfortable groove, and thus only covered 14 miles. On the way out I noticed this interesting curving reflective structure and made a point of stopping for a closer look on the way back.
