T he grounds of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City are very well manicured. The stated museum mission is a dedication to the enjoyment and understanding of the visual arts and the varied cultures they represent. I certainly enjoyed my visit, although I never did get inside to view any of the exhibits. There was a plethora of visual delight for me to explore on the outside, especially in infrared.

“Spectral selectivity is a technique for creating images which use intentionally limited ranges of radiation in the ultraviolet, visible or infrared portions of the spectrum. It has uses in artistic and scientific photography.” - Ed Scott
