   Reinvent your memories
While I look over my shoulder
There may be dangers here

S ometimes seeking interesting visuals puts me in a location that feels dangerous. Extra awareness must be cultivated to avoid mishap. Of course that prevailing atmosphere can transmit over into the captured imagery. Thus it is with today’s effort, an image that works on multiple levels. First it is a study of color and textural relationships, punctuated by prominent symbolism. It embodies my interests in time passage and natural aging of objects and their environment. Compositionally it echoes the work of Mondrian, with vertical and horizontal fractured space divisions. Further it is divided vertically down the middle, working as a single image with a diptych depiction, a motif that is gaining traction.

“Photography is such a technically demanding form of art that many people confuse the process and the product.” - Jonathan Danforth
