nce the town movie theater, now a seedy bar, this structure was the apex of a recent public brawl. The fight started in Club Blue and then erupted out the doors and into the street. When on-duty police officers became overwhelmed, an “all-call” for the Warrensburg Police Department, UCM Public Safety and the Johnson County Sheriff's Department was issued. Five people were arrested, but officials reported that the incident involved a large intoxicated crowd. Some of the other small towns in the area still operate their historical downtown theaters as theaters. A matter of community priorities and economics I suppose.
