Extension Cord

   Outdoor application
Dysteleological wire storage
Power to the fence

S mall things sometimes attract my attention. I walked by this scene over the course of several weeks and the position of the electrical cord did not move. I like the random nature of the wire loops and the complementary color scheme, so I decided to photography it using my latest TtV lens design that features a natural edge fall-off. The viewing lens that forms the image is held in the lens barrel only at the corners, therefore the image transitions from glass to thin air at the perimeter boundary. You will see more of this effect in future postings.

“Seeing, in the finest and broadest sense, means using your senses, you intellect, and your emotions. It means encountering your subject matter with your whole being. It means looking beyond the labels of things and discovering the remarkable world around you.” - Freeman Patterson
