Explicit Dynamics

   Decorated sheds cultural symbols
Buildings reduced to pure forms
Art craft technology synthesis

G ood architectural design considers the environment and makes an effort to both blend-in and complement. In the urban environment this involves coordinating different materials and sensibilities over time. On my recent expedition to Kansas City, I noticed many instances of structural juxtapositions and worked to correlate divergent motifs visually. The character and mood of the city is rapidly changing, as many large scale construction projects are currently underway.
