Boyhood

   Pond Creek River
Water mysteries
Invoke investigation

A s a young person growing up in Northern Virginia, I was fascinated by bodies of water. Days were spent exploring local tributaries and assorted water holes. I was especially intrigued by the existence of strange and exotic creatures, like eels, crayfish, salamanders and tadpoles. I traveled with a loose aggregate of like minded colleagues, and the whole enterprise seemed essential and significant. Looks like others have taken up this important work.
