arge scale construction of a new 18,500-seat state-of-the-art arena located between 13th and 15th streets and Grand and Oak streets in downtown Kansas City is underway. Estimated completion for the “Sprint Center” complex is slated for October 2007. This effort is part of an extensive redevelopment project transforming the character of the city. The plan is to create a vibrant entertainment district that is energetic 24-hous every day, featuring a wide range of activities. That will be much different than what goes on now.
