loudy dreary days do not preclude the opportunity to find and make images. I can remember occasions in my distant past when I would go on long enjoyable walks on rainy days, soaking in the visual environment. I like the way the world continuously alters and things change in appearance and mood under cloudy skies. Damp surfaces reflect light differently than dry causing color saturation shifts. Everything is lit by highly diffuse shadow-less light and tonal relationships realign. A moody atmospheric ambiance prevails, allowing for elucidation of unique messages.
