On the Playground

   Entertainment apparatus
Region of unrestricted
Pleasurable activity

S ome alleged experts claim children develop adaptation dexterity and social skills on the playground that become lifelong adult behaviors. Perhaps that is why we find recreational equipment such as the see-saw, merry-go-round, swing set, slide, climber, walking bridge, jungle gym, chin-up bar, sandbox, monkey bar, overhead ladder, trapeze, playhouse, and maze at these locations. A metaphorical training ground for future trials and tribulations.

“Very often I try to find something that matches a feeling I have. On the other hand, a lot of times I photograph with nothing specific in mind. I just play it as it comes. If it's good, fine. I find 'letting it happen' relaxing, a playful vacation. Stimulating pictures almost always result.” - Minor White
