hether it is graffiti or corporate symbols, I am intrigued by efforts to cover or eradicate previous graphic messages. Generally these efforts are inadequate or make the situation worse. But new visual relationships arise, and thoughtful compositional extraction can render worthy images.
Another concept I enjoy exploring is minimalism. While studying the history of this genre, I found there are many works that are classified as such but seem too complex and chaotic. I am striving for an extreme visual simplification and yet still provide enough diversity to warrant close scrutiny.
