Denser Phase

   Substance change
Vapor cooled liquid
Condenser dampness

O ver a several week stretch there was an extreme internal/external temperature differential experienced in the Grinstead building. Therefore the large plate glass windows in the vending machine hall just off the courtyard became functioning condensers. This phenomenon became so pronounced that towels were needed to mop up water pools collecting on the adjacent floors. But it made for some great visual effects, providing wonderful refraction and filtering of the cold winter light.

“The moment always dictates in my work. What I feel, I do. This is the most important thing for me. Everybody can look, but they don't necessarily see. I never calculate or consider; I see a situation and I know that its right, even if I have to go back to get the proper lighting.” - Andre Kertesz
