Checkered

   Course swing
Attention attraction
Alternate patch opposition

O n the eastern edge of town, this is a structure I have been meaning to photograph for some time, but never got around to it. With the acquisition of the Zenitar fisheye, I felt I had the perfect tool for the job. Of course the checkered pattern decorating the overhang is the prominent feature; but I was also interested in the relative isolation of the scene. It is sort of plopped down in a large field, and stands out in its singularity. For the record, this is some kind of automotive customizing establishment.
