O ne of the nice aspects of teaching is the positive influence it has on my photography. As I assign shooting themes for my class, invariably I find that my images also head off in those directions.. Last week the theme was minimalism, and this week the theme is geometry. Looks like both concepts inform today's image. Oh, and it is another in my recent multiple image layer efforts. Generally simplicity is more effective than complexity, but that said, I like complex simplicity.

“What's really important is to simplify. The work of most photographers would be improved immensely if they could do one thing: get rid of the extraneous. If you strive for simplicity, you are more likely to reach the viewer.” - William Albert Allard
