Sparkle

   Early morning dew
Reflects flashes of light
Gleaming bush particles

W hen I fabricate a lens, in my excited haste to see how it will work, I rush out onto my front porch and make a few exploratory exposures. This image is the result of one of these testing episodes. On this occasion, I placed a single large objective at the end of a bellows attachment. This is a very versatile way to quickly evaluate various lenses and lens combinations. I am reasonably pleased with the resulting image. Of course the light conditions were exquisite.

“ ...through this photographic eye you will be able to look out on a new light-world, a world for the most part uncharted and unexplored, a world that lies waiting to be discovered and revealed.” - Edward Weston
