Barrier or guard support
Harsh opposition expression

S ince I began making diptychs, I have begun to compose single images as if they were comprised of two related separate images. Today's post is a good example. It is compositionally split down the middle, and could be divided into two independent units. This is not something I did deliberately, but rather something I noticed later. Looking back over recent images, I see this as a trend. Now that awareness of this has manifest, I wonder how it will evolve.

“Photography requires growth; you learn, you grow. You stop learning, you stop growing. Those who say they know it all... are either liars, or extremely naive. The more you know, the more you grow.” - Tedric A. Garrison
