A nother new lens and another way to render my reality; this was shot with a Russian Zenitar 16mm f2.8 fisheye lens (180 degrees diagonal coverage). A fisheye lens renders straight lines which don't run through the center of the frame as curved, although lines running through the center remain straight. This is merely a different method of mapping a three dimensional world to a two dimensional plane compared to the common rectilinear perspective. I really like this lens, but it will take some time to learn how to best employ it.

“After 40 years of ingesting every aspect of photographic science and composition, I still find the camera to be an endlessly intriguing partner that challenges my imagination and knowledge. All that with only 3 variables of shutter speed, aperture and focal length.” - Ralph Auletta
