Y esterday's and today's images are of the entrance to Garrison Gymnasium on the UCM campus, shot late in the day as the sun receded. Photographing objects or scenes from opposite sides is interesting and sometimes results in satisfying imagery. This approach provides records leading to a deeper understanding of the experience of being in a specific place and time. By using the dream lens, both facts and emotions are rendered.

“The camera's magic lies within that ether of dreams between the creative eye of the photographer and the soul of his or her subject. To dwell within that ether is an intoxicating experience and a place to which I long to return, time and again.” -Michael Davis
