S hadows can both define objects and scenes or obscure them. This is one of the many eternal fascinations associated with photography. The natural light is changing constantly, and our world is redrawn in different configurations over and over. By adjusting our relationship to external reality and developing perceptional awareness of the available sensations, new and more sophisticated images can be created.
