og is a particularly interesting weather phenomenon in the way it modifies and attenuates light. It has a natural softening effect and transforms the world into an impressionistic atmosphere. We don't get much fog here in western Missouri, but when it does appear I embrace the visual opportunity. This generally involves early morning exploratory excursions.
