The News

   Experience information
Specific and timely
Sufficiently interesting

I n democracies news organizations aspire for objectivity; to present events as just and unbiased. This is extremely difficult to achieve in practice. Judgments must be made based on observable phenomena as to what is presentable and is influenced by emotions and personal prejudices. To counteract this problem, the best solution is to allow an unlimited number of news sources to freely operate, providing a wide range of perceptions.

“News is the first rough draft of history.” - Philip L. Graham
