Light Essence

   Sumptuous elegance
Softness equilibrium
Shadows bracket the beam

T his is a shot of the same subject posted on the first of December, a small pear tree in my yard. I like both images and decided they are sufficiently different to warrant inclusion. Here again I was using the meniscus acromat that renders highlights with an ethereal glow. I really like how this lens renders a scene, the softness of focus resulting from noticeable spherical aberrations. The degree of softness is controllable with the lens aperture.
