ortuitously the new Canon DO lens has the same filter thread as the Sony F828, so my supplemental marco lens fits. This turns out to be a wonderful combination, producing an extreme close-up with a dream-like ambiance. I love macro photography; it dramatically increases subject matter potential and imaging opportunities. More to come.
“O little lances, dipt in grey,
And set in order straight and clean,
How exquisitely clear and keen
Your points against the cobalt day !
Attesting what consummate art
Ye fringe the limpid firmament,
O little lances, keenly sent
To pierce with beauty to the heart.”
- Clark Ashton Smith

- Earl Nightingale
