I
t is difficult to get a shot of fall leaves that's good and doesn't look cliché. This one was made on campus during a walk over to the student union. This specific combination of color and foliage density lasted about a day, as a change in the weather suddenly blew most leaves down. The bright yellow tree is the Ginkgo, one of the world's most urban-tolerant trees, often growing where other trees cannot survive.
“Now autumn's fire burns slowly along the woods and day by day the dead leaves fall and melt.” - William Allingham
