R ecently I acquired a LOREO Lens in a Cap for my Canon 5D. It converts a $3,000 camera into a ightweight but highly usable point-and-shoot, well suited for taking snapshots where the existence of a big imposing lens can disturb the subject. The focal length is 35mm, and the aperture is adjustable from f/5.6 - f/64. Flare is extreme and unpredictable. I like it for working in a crowd and for motion blurs. Other professional photographers are intrigued when they see it, and almost always desire to look through it.
