Emblematic postcard

O ccasionally obvious photographs of landmarks are irresistible. This is a Greek revival style courthouse built in St. Louis starting in 1839 and finished in 1862. It is now part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Park that also features the Gateway Arch. Construction on the nation's tallest memorial began in 1961 with the "topping out" in 1965 and dedication in 1966.
