hile graffiti can be perceived as a renegade creative art form, most regard it as an unwanted nuisance. Property owners deem it expensive vandalism requiring repair, and many people believe that the presence of graffiti contributes to an environment of squalor and crime.
Some “patrons” advocate graffiti should be considered a legitimate art form subject to commercialization. Many graffiti artists have taken to displaying their works in galleries and owning their own studios. It doesn't seem like that activity can be labeled graffiti anymore.
