ack in my early days of photography, I enjoyed making slide sandwiches. Hovered over a light box, moving the small glowing pieces of translucent plastic into different arrangements, I was engrossed for hours. I got a slide copy attachment for my Nikon F2, and began to make new slide compositions from image combinations. These suffered from resolution problems and were plagued by dust.
Digital editing now makes this process easy and eliminates the technical problems. This image is a composite sandwich of a close shot of a cement wall and Buteo Lake at Knob Noster State park.
