amiliarity does not diminish visual opportunity. I have photographed various elements on campus frequently over the last four years. Here is the latest installment, a parking lot detail from just outside the door into Grinstead, the building that houses the UCM photography program. A study in form and shape, this image abstracts the ordinary.

I immediately thought "action," although the image itself is very stationary in nature. Colors and detail though may seem ordinary to some, have special feel to me.
