lthough captured in St. Louis, this scene could be located in almost any metropolitan area. I responded to it immediately on contact purely on a visual level, considering the colors and shapes as an abstract happening. As you know, I like to find things that are not inherently picture worthy, but can be transformed by framing and exposure. I like that it also contains signs, symbols, and a ladder.
