Exit

Golden light soothes the moment away
Consider it your price of admission
Knowing it changes constantly

S ome photographs are made in unlikely locations. This was shot while sitting in the passenger seat of a rental car in the Hertz lot at the Memphis airport. As my rendezvous partner was adjusting his seat and locating the driving controls, I was observing the late afternoon light and color combinations. This landscape was the vista directly to my front and although rather common was transformed by the ambient conditions into a satisfying composition. Or at least I think so.

“Anything more than 500 yards from the car just isn't photogenic.” - Edward Weston
