C ole Camp, a historic town located where the Ozarks meet the great prairies in Benton County, was visited late on a Tuesday after most businesses had shut-down and the local German restaurant was closed. It was hot. We all dispersed in search of interesting images, and began interfacing with the indigenous people. During a conversation with a vintage resident, I learned that the town was named after some guy named Cole who had long ago set-up a hunting camp at a creek nearby. Or maybe not.

Did I mention it was hot?
