Chair

   In a shed
Small forgotten dirty
Old-world quaint

T his chair was found in Rocheport inside a lean-to under very dim lighting conditions. A longish exposure and post-processing produced the results you see. It reminded me of a photograph that was made by Seymour Slatkin, a friend and fellow student at RIT, back in 1979. It also reminds me of a famous Vincent Van Gogh painting. The reds and greens complement each other nicely.

“Said the chair unto the table,
"Now you know we are not able!
How foolishly you talk
When you know we cannot walk!"”
- Edward Lear

my mind appreciates the technical approach; my eye and heart: simple in design, adroitly done, aesthetically pleasing. sure that JLH would say the same.
