Well

   Excavated below the water table
Lined and covered to prevent collapse
Access underground reserve

T his 1800's era well is located next to the “Dog Trot Log House”, part of the Henry County Museum and Cultural Arts Center in Clinton. Since the original house and outbuildings were moved to this site, I do not know if this is a working well or a display. In either case, it is interesting.

The image was rendered using Photoshop's art history brush. The technique involves creating snapshots as source information, and painting with different sized brushes, smaller brushes for areas where more detail is desired. These brushing tools are extremely versatile and provide for a wide range of artistic effects.

Here is a nice tutorial.

“The first virtue of a painting is to be a feast for the eyes.” - Delacroix
