Robinia pseudoacacia

   Alternate pinnately compound leaf
Monoecious fragrant white flower
Flattened legume light brown fruit

B lack locust trees are in bloom all over Knob Noster state park. They are especially striking at the waters edge as they ring the lakes and ponds. The large white blossoms are extremely fragrant. Black locust often reproduces by root suckering and stump sprouting to form groves of trees interconnected by a shared root system.

Although today's image is pleasant enough, incorporating nice bokeh, it is primarily a documentary shot. Sometimes a record of something interesting is sufficient to warrant the creation of a photograph – a serious chronicling of the external world.

“The flowers of all our tomorrows are in the seeds of today.”- Chinese proverb
