L ooking for images in unlikely locations, here I was exploring an ordinary parking garage. My intent was to extract a bold graphic design starting with an examination of space, form, texture and subtle color. I am particularly pleased with the shapes as formed by the spatial relationship created from my choice of viewpoint. I made five different exposures of this subject from varying positions and may post a different interpretation later.
Spring break is now over. I used the time to redesign Latentsifer. Some of this effort is obvious; the archives are more usable and better navigation is now available. Other improvements are behind the scenes and provide much improved maintainability. Basically I broke the site organization up into many modules that can be exploited on any page through php programming. The beauty of this is when I change any specific module, that change is automatically propagated throughout the site. Sometimes it takes work to eliminate work.
