Juncture | Straight Line Blue shadow Intersection |
A
n image captured on my way home from work. There is much to see and record in the six-block stretch. Another of my self generated assignments is to make photographs as I walk this route. Generally I get several worthy images from this effort every week, and many have been posted to the Image of the Day Association during its existence over the last two years.
Here two color fields are intersected and fractured by fence and shadow lines. This was in a small dirt ally just off route 13 and is the foundation of a detached garage associated with an old Victorian house. Later on in the growing season the fence will be covered in morning glory vines.
“Pick a theme and work it to exhaustion...the subject must be something you truly love or truly hate.” - Dorothea Lange
