L etters are graphic symbols that are combined in endless permutations to form words representing complex concepts. Photographs are also intricate cryptograms that symbolize complex ideas. I search for and make images combining the descriptive languages of both words and photographs together, thereby increasing communication impact. The net effect is greater than the component ingredients.

I especially like letters and symbols on windows that allow transparency and reflection in the same composition. Like all subjects, once you become aware of the possibilities, the number of opportunities seems to grow. Sensations previously masked out are revealed through attentiveness.
