   The sun is clean
Gradually, we become aware
Appropriate measures are taken
Yet style becomes outdated

T his image is all about the layering of a changing cityscape featuring contrasting color and surface textures. Much of my photography involves long walks, exploring an area from many different angles and viewpoints. Sometimes the light becomes magical, and I wish I could be in several places at once to fully experience the beauty of what are transitory events. I also consciously try to frame my compositions in ways that are new and different for me. Part of the attraction of a series of images related by subject is the challenge to find variety within a theme. It is all too easy to fall into a rut and take the same image over and over.
