G lancing at my watch, I noticed that the meter where I had parked my truck was going to expire in 30 minutes. I changed direction and picked up my pace to get back to the vehicle before the meter maid. As I scurried along I passed this doorway and was impressed by the art deco styling and the reflections in the glass from across the street. I made several quickly composed exposures and continued on my way.
Later as I reviewed the days work, I regretted not spending more time looking at this subject. Although I am satisfied with this shot, I think a more abstract approach could have been explored with interesting results. I plan to stay on the lookout for similar subjects and conditions in future photographic expeditions and dig deeper.
